Zishan Ahammad is a transformation-driven banking leader with over 18 years of experience in digital payments, Cards, ADC, and technology-enabled retail banking. As the EVP & Head of Cards, ADC & Internet Banking at Bank Asia PLC, he spearheads large-scale initiatives in digitalization, automation, and process optimization, enhancing customer experience while accelerating business growth.

Before joining Bank Asia, Zishan served as Senior Vice President & Head of Retail at Meghna Bank PLC, where he led a comprehensive retail banking transformation. He digitised customer journeys, rebuilt the card business, automated core processes, strengthened digital channels, and achieved 8x portfolio growth and 15x transaction growth in cards—one of the strongest turnarounds in the sector.

With a strong technology foundation, Zishan holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from DUET and an MBA in MIS from the University of Dhaka. His unique blend of technical expertise and business vision has enabled him to modernize legacy systems and drive bank-wide automation and digital transformation.

Across his career with City Bank, Prime Bank, UCB, NCC Bank, Meghna Bank and BEPS (Now ITCL), he has delivered multiple industry-first innovations, including the NFC card launch, paperless EMI, first JCB issuing in Bangladesh, and major CMS/Switch automation projects.
