Mr. Tahmidur Rashid

Head of Credit Risk Management

Mr. Tahmidur Rashid is the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Credit Risk Management Division at Bank Asia PLC. He joined the Bank in February 2009 as the First Vice President and has since risen through the ranks, earning successive promotions to Vice President, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President, and ultimately Senior Executive Vice President in 2022. With over two decades of experience in the banking sector, Mr. Rashid has played a pivotal role in shaping the Bank’s credit risk policies and strategies.

Before joining Bank Asia, he worked at Jamuna Bank Ltd. where he held various positions in the Credit Division, including Senior Assistant Vice President. His banking career began in January 1996 at National Bank Ltd., where he gained extensive experience in foreign exchange.

Mr. Rashid holds an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Khulna. His deep expertise in credit risk management and banking operations has made him a key figure in Bank Asia’s leadership team.
