Mr. Mirza Azhar Ahmad

Mr. Mirza Azhar Ahmad has joined Bank Asia PLC. as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer on 21 November 2024. He started his career from Standard Chartered Bank since 1999 and served there till 2022. Afterwards, he joined ONE Bank PLC. as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Operation since February 2022 where he played a pivotal role in heading and managing the Operations Division. His area of expertise covered Branch Operations, Card Operations, Centralized Clearing Unit, Cash Management Operations, ATM Operations, Centralized Service Delivery, Retail Loan Administration, Treasury Back Office etc.

Mr. Ahmad, a Graduate and Post Graduate in International Relations from University of Dhaka with good academic results has more than two decades of banking experience to his credit.
